She died in a murder/suicide committed by her ex-husband. For the first few years after her death, January was a terrible month for my family. We all suffered some degree of depression, especially my parents. Their oldest daughter died as an infant in January of 1961. As I look back over the past 12 years I am so thankful to God. His grace and strength brought us through the most difficult time in our lives. God is awesome and his people are awesome. We have been shown so much love and support that words just cannot describe. Only God can bring people through such tragedies. Without God I literally would have gone insane. Not only did I tragically loose my sister who was one of my best friends(we even lived next door to each other), But I went from a Mom of 2 to a Mom of 5 overnight. Yes, I inherrited my sister's 3 beautiful daughters. They were ages 2,6, and 13 at the time. Sometimes I relive that day and all of the hurt comes rushing back. But then, I call on my Lord and He strengthens me. I pray for continued strength and peace for your family. Thank you for allowing God to use you. I know that God has used Charleen's and Bronner's deaths to bring others to Him. No matter how difficult it may be at times, we must continue to share their stories so that others can come to know Christ as their Savior.<br />Trudie Owingsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5045091401399321468.post-6847860725058403272014-02-25T08:31:55.431-08:002014-02-25T08:31:55.431-08:00I have a beautiful child who will never see the va...I have a beautiful child who will never see the value in a good towel rack. But - as long as she knows and trusts her Jesus, has great friends, seeks God in all she does, balances a checkbook and stays out of debt - what do all the wet, mildewy towels even matter... ?! :)palmers216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5045091401399321468.post-81854229268713391222014-01-13T10:08:27.569-08:002014-01-13T10:08:27.569-08:00I loved this :) He is the sweetest!
